DNF - Aru Shah and the End of Time

I did not finish Asateot because I couldn’t get through it. It just didn’t grasp my attention and I didn’t really like any of the characters. At the beginning of the story (when I made my first post about the book) I thought it would be super fun and interesting, which it might be for others, but I was bored with the storyline and the slowish pace of the writing.

               Sooooo I dnf Aru Shah and the End of Time

(WARNING: SORT OF SPOILER /it won’t ruin the book for you if you read below, though/)
Mini “theory”: The series is labeled as a “quartet”, which is four books, and in the first book we learn about the four Pandava brothers. However, there was also a fifth Pandava brother that was kept a secret. If there are four books, one for each Pandava brother, does this mean that there will also a be a secret 5 book in the series?

Okay for Now (Recommendation)

Okay for Now        (Gary D. Schmidt) 4.5/5 Stars         Okay for Now was both happy and heartbreaking. This story was one of love, compassion, forgiveness, and hope. I can guarantee you will fall in love with Doug, the main character, and really enjoy watching his "evolution" throughout the book. Okay for Now is a book that will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, leaving you laughing and crying by its finish. Aru Shah and the End of Time

I started reading Aru Shah and the End of Time (the first book in the Pandava Quartet) last week. I haven't really had much time to read it because of summer homework and just work in general, but I made it to chapter 7 and I'm already LOVING it. I also have a small theory about the series, but I'm going to wait until my final review to talk about it. For now, all I'm going to say is that I think the illustrations on the cover are beautiful and you should check out this book because so far, it's amazing!
